We’re very excited about this book! Written and illustrated by two priests’ wives from the Antiochian Archdiocese, this book tells the story of one of the earliest known Holy Fools, a special kind of saint that sought out holiness by despising the opinions of others and seeking only the glory that comes from God. To the world they appeared foolish, but in God’s eyes they were wise with the wisdom of the Cross.
St. Isidora was an early monastic saint who, even in the monastery, was made fun of by the other nuns, who looked down on her for her apparent foolishness, until God glorified her, revealing the truth about her. A beautiful lesson for children on what true sanctity is and Whose opinion who should truly care about.
